Kermit 3.13

NOTE:

• It didn’t seem to matter if we had the port setup in the
  Victor’s config.sys, it still worked.

Files:

• Win-CKermit-10b10.zip
  • Unzip to your PC
• V9K-Kermit313.zip
  • Transfer these files to your Victor

Cable:

• This needs at least a basic null modem cable
  with at least Rx/Tx crossed and Ground connected.
• USB to Serial adapters work fine.
• Use 9-to-25 serial adapter and/or gender changer as needed.

Instructions:

1. (Victor) Boot Victor MS-DOS
2. (Victor) kerm313.exe
   • NOTE: this pulls settings from the mskermit.ini file
3. (PC) Start CKermit (k95.exe)
   • NOTE: this pulls settings from the k95custom.ini file
   • You’ll need to adjust the first line to set the COM port to use
4. (Victor) receive (or just rec)
5. (PC) send filename (you can use wildcards here)
6. (Victor) exit (once done)
7. For Victor to PC Trx: Use rec on PC and send filename on Victor

ALSO:

1. See the kermrecv.bat file - starts kermit in receive mode, exits when done.
