RTC Clock Cards

It was possible to expand the Act Sirius 1 and Victor 9000 via several expansion options. All used at least one expansion slot located on the motherboard. As there are only four expansion slots difficult decisions on expansion have to be made.
A useful addition to the computer was clock card. As the ACT Sirius 1 / Victor 9000 did not come fitted with an RTC date and time had to be input manually every time the computer was booted up. A clock card took over this function so that the boot time could be shortened by not having to type in the time and date. Some cards worked in both MS-DOS and CP/M-86 but not all.

Below are details of RTC expansion cards that were available.
