'ISSUE' Clock Card

ISSUE Clock+ Card

This small card adds a useful function as a RTC (Real Time Clock) is not fitted within a Sirius computer. The DATE and TIME would normally have to be set at every boot up. It does occupy a valuable expansion slot on the motherboard but the benefits outweigh the loss of a slot.

The card is very simple to set up using the driver disk for MS-DOS only. All functions of this card are by software only making for even better installation.

Clock Card

The clock card is based upon the HD146818P Microprocessor, Real-Time Clock produced by Hitachi. It is powered by a 3.6 Volt, 100 Ma battery.
